Sverre Nypan's loan spell at Middlesbrough has been mutually terminated.

Norway midfielder Nypan had been on loan at the Riverside from Manchester City for the whole season, but he has now returned to his parent club.

The 19-year-old, who was signed by City last summer from Rosenborg, made 21 appearances for Boro, but only started three of those games.
