Man Utd chief Amorim due to update on Bruno Fernandes

Ruben Amorim is following an old Sir Alex Ferguson tradition in holding a press conference on Christmas Eve.
Ferguson's view was if he was working, then why shouldn't the media? Amorim isn't as vindictive as that. It fits in better with his schedule before the Boxing Day night clash with Newcastle at Old Trafford.
Amorim is going to be asked the extent of Bruno Fernandes' injury.
It is thought the United captain will be out for at least three weeks with what seemed to be a hamstring injury he sustained in Sunday's defeat at Aston Villa.
Sadly for Amorim, that period is also when Bryan Mbeumo, Amad Diallo and Noussair Mazraoui are all likely to be away on Africa Cup of Nations duty.
It would cover Premier League games against Newcastle, Wolves, Leeds and Burnley, plus the FA Cup third round tie with Brighton. After that, United have Premier League games against Manchester City and Arsenal.
In addition to Fernandes, Amorim will be asked about ongoing injuries to Matthijs de Ligt and Harry Maguire, plus Kobbie Mainoo, who missed the Villa game with a calf problem.
