Sykes-Kenworthy signs new York deal until 2027

York City goalkeeper George Sykes-Kenworthy has signed a new contract at the LNER Community Stadium, keeping him at the club for the 2026-27 season.
Sykes-Kenworthy, 26, joined York from Bradford Park Avenue in 2023.
He kept seven clean sheets in his first full season with the Minstermen, helping them secure their National League status.
Having represented the England C team, he also enjoyed a successful loan spell with Alfreton Town in 2024-25.
He will now remain part of the squad for their first campaign in the English Football League since 2015-16.
