Sir Alex Ferguson used to have a phrase he would trot out when issues landed at the legendary Manchester United manager's door.

"There is no need to go looking for trouble because it won't be long before trouble finds you," the Scot liked to say.

Well, trouble has found Ruben Amorim this week.

United's head coach is due to face the media shortly to discuss Sunday's trip to in-form Aston Villa.

Before he gets round to that - and specifically how he deals with the absences of Bryan Mbeumo, Amad Diallo and Noussair Mazraoui due to the Africa Cup of Nations, plus Casemiro, who is suspended - he has to deal with that 'Free Kobbie Mainoo' T-shirt and Bruno Fernandes' claim not everyone at United is as committed as they should be.

Amorim is good with words. He needs to find some to deal with those issues.
