Peterborough United have made their fourth signing of the summer after agreeing a deal for winger Owura Edwards following his departure from Colchester United.

The 25-year-old arrives on a two-year contract with an option for a further 12 months.

Edwards left Colchester after three seasons, where he scored eight times in 90 appearances, having previously spent three months on loan with the U's at the end of the 2021-22 season.

He links back up with Posh boss Luke Williams after the two worked together at the start of Edwards' career at Bristol City.

"Luke is a winner, I really enjoyed working with him when we were together at Bristol City," Edwards told the club's website., external

"He gives you a lot of confidence to go out there and perform and I am really excited to be back working with him, he is one of the best coaches I have worked with."

Goalkeeper Collin Andeng Ndi, former Sunderland midfielder Harrison Jones and former Walsall defender Evan Weir have also joined Posh since the end of last season.
