Bristol City have signed midfielder Jed Wallace on a two-year deal after he left Championship rivals West Bromwich Albion at the end of last season.
The 32-year-old spent four seasons with the Baggies, making 140 league appearances and scoring 15 goals but was not offered a new contract at The Hawthorns.
Wallace won the League One play-offs with Millwall in 2017 and also helped West Brom reach the Championship play-off semi-finals in the 2023-24 season where they lost to Southampton.
"There is a huge opportunity for us this season to achieve something and I hope I can help the leaders here in the group already," he told the Bristol City website., external
"There will be plenty of ups and downs, so it is important the experienced players in the dressing room hold that together."
He becomes new Bristol City boss Michael Skubala's fourth signing since he was appointed in May, with midfielders Gibson Yah and Sam Greenwood and goalkeeper Sam Tickle all moving to Ashton Gate.
"We know what a brilliant player Jed is and to bring in someone of his quality who has played so much at the level is extremely positive," Skubala added.
Bristol City open the new Championship season at home to Millwall on Saturday, 15 August (15:00 BST).
