In Tuesday's World Cup win over Iraq, Arsenal and Norway's Martin Odegaard completed 97.6% of his passes. In total, Odegaard played 42 passes and found a team-mate with 41 of them.

Two other players were outstanding in their distribution - Sander Berge on 95.1% and Torbjorn Heggem on 94%. It points to the shift to a more easy-on-the-eye style Norway have undertaken over the years as in their previous two World Cup appearances (1994, 1998), no Norwegian player that attempted 30 or more passes in a match completed at least 90% percent of them.
