Bolton Wanderers have signed winger Kyliane Dong on a season-long loan deal from German side FC Augsburg.

The 21-year-old began his career in France with Troyes before moving to Augsburg in 2025.

Dong is yet to make a full appearance for Augsburg however and spent last season with French side Pau where he made 31 appearances.

"It means a lot. I think it's an important step in my young career, and I'm grateful for the trust the club has shown in me. I'll try to do the very best I can," he said.

"This will be the first time I play in the Championship. I'm excited, I can't wait, and I hope we'll be able to keep Bolton in the Championship.

"I started playing football in France and, as a French player, England is a dream."
