The fourth Test of the 2025-26 Ashes series takes place in Melbourne and starts on Friday, 26 December.

Play will start at 10:00 local time, which is 23:30 GMT on Christmas Day in the United Kingdom.

The traditional Boxing Day match is scheduled to start six days after the conclusion of the third Test in Adelaide.

It is an annual tradition to host a Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Boxing Day, dating back to the first between Australia and West Indies in 1968.

Eleven Ashes Tests have been held at the MCG since 1974, with Australia winning five, England four and two draws taking place.

Alastair Cook famously hit 244 not out in 2017 - the highest score by a visiting batter at the MCG.

The final match of the series will take place in Sydney in January.
