This is not really a pub, its a bar, but oh my god it is THE best
bar!! It plays fantastic music for the 80s child (like me) and anyone
really who likes the 80s (like me)!!
Me
and my mates go in there as much as possible for a good ole dance
- the drink prices vary dependin wot day, and at weekends it is
VERY difficult to get served at the immensly busy bar (muscle your
way in, i do), but other than that its FANTASTIQUE!!
Only
problem (or good thing if u want last tram home) is that they chuck
you out at 12:00 (usually after 'i'v had the time of my life' has
been played) and if you wanna stay out later u have to go Flares
or somewhere.

Also, if your more of a 90s kind of person (which i also am) on
certain nights (dont ask me which) the 90s bar is open downstairs
- a very small but cosy little number with a few seats and a couple
of small dancin areas - thats cos not many people notice its there
(wink wink).
scarlet you are spot on with your review! i also have to agree about getting chucked out at 12 just after 'time of your life' im just starting to get on down with my bed self by that point! i wonder if they can get a later license?
Liam - Sheffield I agree you get thrown out just when all the boring looking punters start to dance! The music is ace upstairs and down stairs, shame abuot the usual shortage of staff! Its a great place to go last before a club! I remember when it used to be edwards my oh my that was a bar! On friday one of the main days of the week for going out the 90s bar downstairs is usually shut off which adds to the cramped and drunken gatherings making it hard to breathe!
Cat 'N Rich We are both students and absolutely LOVE Reflex!! Saturdays are very busy but sup up quickly and find a bit of dancefloor then boogie on down. We were guttered that it shut at 12 though! :-(
The 90s bar was also great and the only place we could sit for a drink.
An Excellent night.
