Well,
they’re all quite similar, and quite pleasant, but this one is particularly
flash, with its strange labyrinthine layout, a built-in coffee-bar,
and an outdoor street-terrace that doesn’t put you at risk of having
your toes run over by a tram.
The
Hogshead is reasonably welcoming, not extortionate, and offers tasty
food and a wide selection of beers and ales.
As
for entertainment, there is usually some nondescript insipid music
whimpering away in the background.
Enjoy.

Richard The Museum, as it is now called, is a local pub that just happens to be in the town centre. I go in as often as I can get away with and always feel right at home. The other real plus of the pub is the quality of the cellar, the beer is always spot on.
kirsty This is now called The Museum.
I'v never had any probs with it and my uncle has spent most of his life supping in it so he clearly likes it!! 27/05/05
Paul I find the staff very welcoming although there aren't as many of them as there used to be so be prepared to wait for service. For a massive range of well kept and reasonably priced beers there's nowhere better in the city centre: especially on sunny summer days sitting in Orchard Square ...
