Sitting
neatly at the top of Howard Street the Globe is for the largest
part your typical "It's a Scream" pub (i.e. it's a scream if you
have a "yellow card" and you'll scream at the prices if you don't).
The
decor is heavy on the black and yellow done out in wall to wall
students and Edvard Munch's infamous work is everpresent in the
most tasteless way possible.
The
best thing about this pub is the jukebox, well stocked with nice
tunes and not too expensive.
Apart
from that the seats are hard, the taproom's pokey and the pool table
always causes friction between those playing and those within the
range of cue to the ribs.
By
the way, avoid like the plague when they have a DJ playing as this
negates the plus of the jukebox and takes up almost half the pub.

Liam - Sheffield Pool table needs replacing, seating also does! Good music selection, nice staff, good food when they remember your order! Nice vibe to the place I like it
Mo and 'im We are not 18 anymore !!!but we are always made welcome when we visit Sheffield...
Enjoy whatever your age, thanks to all,
Russ Beer is generally good, the food is fantastic and good value. Spicy chicken burger and a pint. bargain. The pool table is disappointing though
Maximoose "Pound a pint on tuesday night" Great quiz night on thursdays aswell.
Roy the Boy This boozer stinks and is generally full of Carnival type people.
rob pick If they just got nicer seats in the place i would go here much more often. But on the quid a pint night you cant really complain.
Waggy harsh review, i found the globe to be one of the best boozers in the city (and ive been to a lot of em). They keep the beer well, the grub is cheap and so is the booze with a yellow card.
