A few
seconds walk from the shops at Nether Edge and you'll find the Byron.
One
room has a pool table, together with its own collection of young
men who never seem to stop playing and give somebody else a go,
and a large screen tv eternally piping in a football game from somewhere
across the globe.
The
other room is a quieter affair, complete with the obligatory old
man reading his Daily Mirror.
It's
clean, friendly enough, the beer is reasonably priced but the food
is straight from the Panasonic school of microwaving everything
to death.
My
housemate once wandered in here at 10pm after going out to buy some
bread and spent the rest of the evening speaking to a bloke called
Bob, so it can't be all that bad.
