on the top of Ecclesall Road this pub focuses largely, possibly
due to its Hogshead chain ownership, on the restaurant side.
With
'atmospheric' wooden seating and log-cabin style decor The Porter
Brook is a good place for all age groups to have a lazy evening
drink and a natter without the prominance of loud background music.
A
must for Sunday lunch.

I love Porter Brook so much. The Sunday roasts are excellent good portion size although it is always packed! Wasted away some quality afternoons in here and there is a wide selection of drinks.

Nice enough place, but as someone has said, you can't seem to get a seat even when it's quiet!

Been a few times for snacks and drinks,must say I enjoyed each visit, meals tasty and service fine, something missing though, can't put my finger on it....
