This
pub is pretty popular. Probably because its terrace gives you a
good look at the totty walking past into town for a nights
clubbing.
It
certainly cant be the airport lounge atmosphere, or the clientele,
which is either giggling glitzily or slopping lager over fake designer
polo shirts. If anywhere summed up the tired cliches of life Oop
North, its here.
And
the terrace - a nice idea. Maybe the regulars get a high off the
Ecclesall Road rush-hour traffic jams that snake past.
A Jones This truly is a terrible "establishment". On Mondays they bring down the prices, which in turn brings down the sophistication of the cliental who communicate in grunts. There is always a nasty atmosphere despite being a nice part of Sheffield. If you think microwaving and deep fat frying everything is good food then i bet you can't wait until your fast food xmas dinner.
Jo Wilson wonderful cheap jacket potatoes - although the steamed pudding I ordered had clearly died in the microwave. Friendly staff though
Dave W I'm ashamed of my name and my pub all in reading one comment. If all the amazing Dave can base his reasoning for calling this a good pub is salt and pepper pots and toilet windows, then I fear for the future of the human race. What about the lasagne that the considerably more educated mr Coleman enjoys so much, the mouth wateringly good onion rings, both real reasons to enjoy this establishment. It's a real place to savour the pots and window are nice, but not a reason for enjoying the place. The efficiency of the staff should be applauded and their continued dedication to the cause of fulfilling my need for alcohol deserves a medal. Thankyou to the staff who bring joy to my life on a friday night, and Dave, get out there more man learn to savour the real things in life, stop looking through the toilet window and get out in the real world with real people and numerous different styles of salt and pepper pots.
Dave " the amazing dave" Watson The salt and pepper pots are very pretty, and the toilet has nice windows.
Pedigraaaaaayyyyy
Mark Coleman They do the best lasagne and the best onion rings in Sheffield, if not the world!!
