An
old-fashioned local pub with old-fashioned local people!
The
beer is always kept well and the staff are friendly and efficient.
The inside decor leaves a lot to be desired with peeling wallpaper
and missing floor tiles!
There
is a good selection of music on the juke-box and a big screen tv
for football etc. There's always plenty to do with thriving teams
for darts,football and snooker as well as a fishing club.
There
is a lively disco on Friday nights and a well supported karaoke
on Sundays.
In
short, it's a bit grotty but a very friendly and fun place to be!

who cares what the wall papers like who cares after ten pints of the best cream flow in town. . . . .

Fun and Friendly,is this is all we need? the decor leaves a lot to be desired but if it was refurbed, would it keep its character or lose its identity? I say leave it how it is and enjoy the character of a typical south yorkshire watering hole, what would you do?
