yates's used to be the place to be. but now it has gone slowly down hill. bring back the old staff they were fantastic, the new staff just think there all on a cat walk.

Yate's is crap! im sorry but there is nothing going on when u get in there! Apart from the fact of waiting for the toilet. Also u'v got to wait half an hour for drinks. dont mind qwick 1 but come on u must b mad to spend most of your night in there!

Orginally not from Donny we decided to have a night out and stumbled across yates and now we always drop in, Friendly Lively and just a top place to start a night off.....Oh and the Door security is hot! One of them at least x

I love the pubs in doncaster, particularly the stench of raw sewage that seems to waft freely through them! They need to clean up their act! Owens NO. 20 is clearly the best when me and my hot men hit the town

I'd like to know where Wes gets off calling this pub a dive, have you been round the market place recently, or more importantly have you been to a pub recently. You don't have a clue, the lodge is great it's stylishly decorated has good music and plenty of women. I think people who speak nothing of any use shouldn't speak at all, long live the lodge, with all the people who enjoy it. Let them slag off our pub, more fool them, for when we are enjoying the superb nights in the lodge, others have a mediocre night in the new designer pubs in the town ie: moods, what a heartless pub, LONG LIVE THE LODGE AND ALL WHO SUP IN HER.

I think this pub is an absolute dive, with all the new pubs sprouting up in Donny, the wine bar is in desperate need of a make over. Who'd want to drink in here when you can go to the walkabout, moods, tryst and the list goes on. C'mon sort it out yates's bring a fresh new look to a pub that's in danger of becoming very stale.

Just one thing to add, do not eat there, once I ordered chilli waited 40 mins only to be told they were "nipping" out to Sainsbury to buy some Chilli as they were all out..

I like the wine bar as it is always lively, me and my mates find it a must on every night out, I think it's the hip and happening place to be in the town centre at the moment.
