Turn
right out of Donny train station, walk past the old sorting office
and before long you'll stumble upon an untapped hotbed of musical
wonder - The Leopard.
Downstairs
- A traditionally shabby local. Upstairs - a grimy room with stage
and bar.
In
addition to hosting local wannabe noise-merchants, it aspires to
be part of the traditional indie toilet circuit and, as such, has
recently seen bands such as Longview, Kasabian and Chikinki struggle
to load in up the precarious, metal fire escape.
A
venue with great potential that's quickly fulfilling its promise
of seeing tomorrow's bands today!

Maxine I started drinking in the leopard about 13 years ago, back then it was more of a friendly old mans pub and they didn't really have gigs upstairs. However, it's now a fantastic pub where everybody is pretty friendly and you can catch some up and coming bands. I have lived away from Donny for the last 6 years but when I do come back I always try and pop in to The Leopard. It's still a pretty cool pub and it's good to see that there is still a mixed friendly crowd. Donny is pretty crap if you are actually in to music, so it's good that there are pubs like The Leopard.
s. burton great place to see all of doncasters local bands...
Deby! I think this review's quality. Keep it up!

Ben miller Your review is spot on with the leopard ive only been twice but cant help but going now gr8 stuff. I am starting my own band soon and this would be a gr8 place to start out as we get more popular and such a gr8 place for amazing people like me and my m8s (DAVE,RITCHIE,IAN,RYAN,RICH,PEEWEE,LINZI)
Steve Wilson Spot on. I've played there a couple of times and so have a few musician mates of mine. Turn out varies but it can suprise you. I would say that chargin £7 or £8 for bigger bans is a bit rich as you could go to Sheffield and see top US bands like Nebula for that! Otherwise a top venue with a tiny stage and lots of dangerous stairs for your drunken navigation!
