What's
your name?
Jason
Where
is it?
Pickles, High Street, Mexborough
What's
the grub like, then?
The sandwiches from here are the best in the area. Real bread, cut
by hand in thick door step type slices, choice of low fat spread
or real butter then a fantastic range of fillings. My fav is the
old fashioned bacon and egg sarnie, cant be beaten. They must put
six rashers and two eggs in each one. Then it is all wrapped up
in grease proof paper and put in a little paper bag, with a paper
napkin for you.
What
did you drink?
Theres a fridge with a range of cold drinks
What's
the crowd like?
Good down to earth Mexborough folk
And
the vibe?
Very friendly
Anything
else you'd like to say?
Nice staff, good food and they have a cracking cooked meats and
cheese counter there too. Shop is a little cramped though.
Value
for money?
For what you get its fantastic value though slightly more than you
would pay else where

catherine pickles is the best sarnie shop in the whole wide world, my ultimate fave is the chicken and sweetcorn, yum, you nearly give yourself lock jaw trying to eat em as they are massive! A complete bargain. 5/5
