I have
to admit, I havent liked the sandwiches Ive had from
here. But my friends at the BBC South Yorkshire website insisted
I wrote a review which acknowledged that its one of their
favourite midday haunts. Its very popular with the Radio Sheffield
crew, too.
You
can get a different hot roast sandwich each day. The man behind
the counter is lovely, and is happy to have a chat while you wait
for the three chicken steak sandwiches that the chaps have ordered
to combat their "day after the night before" fuggy heads.
The
thing is, its a good place, but it isnt girly enough
for this Greedy Cow. Take, for example, the tuna mayonnaise sandwich.
The tuna and the mayonnaise arent mixed, and theres
egg in the salad. Thats just weird.
Not
to my taste - but its regulars are happy. A compromising 3 moos
out of 5.
