the grub like, then?
Good variation of Cantonese Thai, and Indonesian. Food was generally
very good, ample portions. The crispy Lamb, yes lamb, was excellent.
The shredded pork in lettuce was very good.

We drank both french and spanish wines. There was a good selection.
I would say the prices were average.

An excellent menu, huge choice,large portions of well prepared food, service was good, but not pushy.We will be going again.Non smokers please note, dont be put off by the downstairs bar area, which we found smokey,the restaruant is a different story.

I have been trhere many times and especially like the sunday buffet but the last two visits (4 months) the place has gone down hill and not too clean. I dont know if they have changed owners??

Ive give it 5 moos. Me and my partner have been going there for about 3 years and we love the food. The staff are excellent especially with children.

I entirely agree. We've been to the Red Lion many times and we always enjoy it. Service is mostly excellent - very occasionally a little over-familiar, maybe, though the more exuberant members of staff haven't been in evidence on our recent visits. The food is great - I'd give it four moos. The only reason I wouldn't give it five is that I've had better Chinese food elsewhere, but not in South Yorkshire.

it is an excellent restuarant with excellent staffs. The food was really nice!!! Especially the sunday buffet was a great value for money and the choices are endless. I strongly reccomend it to any one!!

Been there twice and I endorse the above review. Very good quality food (we had the meal for two. I'm a very big eater but not even I could manage all these courses even though they food was excellent!!! Take a doggy bag ... you'll need it.
