Carriages have a midweek offer of 3 courses for about £22.
My starter of Thai Spiced Cod with Creme Fraiche and sweet chilli
jam was, (despite looking a bit like a captain birds eye fishcake)
fantastic. There was a good choice of main courses for a set menu,
includind duck and beef fillet, but the best was yet to come...the
dessert list was inspiring and my treacle sponge with caramel ice
cream didnt disappoint.

The atmosphere was possibly the only thing which let carriages down.
We went midweek so the restaurant was very quiet, almost library
like infact!

The service was spot on, very attentive, couldnt have asked for
more.
Value
for money?
The bill came to £47 for two of us which was fine considering
how much we enjoyed the meal.
