Al This is the best cafe in Sheffield. I don't know anywhere else in the whole city where I can get smoked salmon and scrambled eggs for breakfast, let alone in peaceful and picturesque surroundings. Inspiring!
R This cafe is always packed out, particularly at the weekend. If you haven't got kids, you may find the amount of under 5s in there a bit overwhelming. It's certainly a cut above your average park cafe, and the prices are pretty reasonable. Can I just add that I think the cakes are a bit pricey and never as nice as they look!
Jane C I think this cafe is too up-market for a park cafe, and seems to take itself a bit to seriously. The drinks are too expensive. I really think they ought to get a 'quick till' going as well, for ice-creams and sweets. Murder to queue with lots of hungry, grumpy children. The younger staff are pleasant, the older ones a bit sour-faced. But yes, the cakes are great!
David Morris Definitely a cut above the average park cafe. We've booked for one of their Bistro evenings later on in the year and we're really looking forward to it.
Jayne Definately the best park cafe I have ever been too. Great friendly staff, superb food and good value for money.
Ian The staff are great and the skatepark is awsome. 07/04/05
Tortilla I love the location and the homemade cakes are superb. I found the cheese on toast poor - toasted bread with microwaved cheese. However, the soups are good. Overall, 4 moos and a prayer that they don't get complacent which is the main problem for any successful caterer in Sheffield!
Chris The cheeseburger I order was delicious with a mixed leaf and vinaigrette dressing. Definately a cut above any other park cafe I have ever visited.. and some resteraunts too.
Tracey You have to go to sample the fantastic cakes! Not expensive as they are home made and are huge portions.
Can't praise the Pudding Ladies high enough!
Sarah Meeks Having visited the park cafe once, I found the cakes and desserts very nice but the drinks and main meals where a tad overpriced for a family day out.
