the grub like, then?
excellent, called midweek dinnertime.
A 3 course meal came to £4.20pwhich included homemade soup,
lasagne, chips and salad followed by homemade apple pie.
Good
selection though don't know what the nightime menu is like but going
on what I've just had it should be good.

was very good they couldn't do enough for you

very good, varied menu and at that price takes some beating

Forgot to say on my review - thin pickings for vegetarians. Nothing on the blackboard menu - tho' landlord checked the freezer and offered macaroni cheese or cauliflower bakes. There are salads though.

Stupendous value - 3 courses for 2 of us cost £8.80, and beer (Tom Woods) only £2 a pint. Food was OK to good, though mostly pre packed - but for this price what can you expect? Surroundings are plastic tack - but worth it for the entertainment value of spotting how many different fruits are on the plastic grapevine!
