Lincolnshire beauty queen's bid to make history

Katie Donnelly, the reigning Ms Royal East Midlands, is defying the odds after surviving a childhood brain tumour that left doctors unsure whether she would ever walk, talk or breathe independently. The 25-year-old from Lincolnshire, will compete for the Ms Royal UK title in November. She hopes her journey will inspire others and make history by becoming the first visibly and physically disabled woman to win a national UK pageant crown and represent her country at the Royal International competition in Orlando. She's been chatting to BBC Radio Lincolnshire's Frances Finn.
