Is Fifa fit for football?

Voice of the UK

Available for over a year

A senior adviser to Gianni Infantino resigned hours after a third confederation opposed the Fifa president's plan to sell stakes in competitions to private investors. Carlos Cordeiro said Infantino's proposal was "a bad deal for football" and would "mortgage football's future". It came after the Asian Football Confederation said it stood in solidarity against the plan with its counterparts in Europe and North, Central America and the Caribbean. It means Infantino's plan is unlikely to be approved by Fifa members if put to a vote. 5 Live listeners share their thoughts with Nicky Campbell.
