London is experiencing more and more extreme heat. Days exceeding 30C – known as “very hot” days by the Met Office - might feel normal, but they used to be much rarer. During the last decade, the number of these “very hot” days more than trebled compared with the 1961-1990 average, according to the Met Office. In many European countries they are having to adapt and change to the increasing temperatures. So what can we learn from them? And is it about our attitude as much as the build environment? BBC Radio London's Ross Ryan has more. (Image credit: Getty Images)
