A landmark report setting out how to improve the water industry in England and Wales has been published. It contains more than 80 recommendations for transforming the sector, including a single integrated water regulator to simplify the system and making water meters mandatory. Sir John Cunliffe led the Independent Water Commission (IWC) review and says this is our “great stink moment”.
