Liverpool artist Paul Curtis will paint a tribute mural to Diogo Jota near Anfield after a fan-led crowdfunder smashed its £2,000 target in just 35 minutes, raising over £21,000. The extra funds will go towards a new charity foundation in honour of Jota and his brother André, who both tragically died in a car accident earlier this month. Curtis, known for his iconic murals across the city, says he hopes the piece will celebrate Jota’s spirit and legacy beyond football.
