An independent sentencing review has made recommendations to tackle overcrowding in England and Wales. Former Secretary of State for Justice, David Gauke, chaired the review: he says "we can't build our way out" of overcrowding. His review recommends fewer short sentences, releasing well-behaved offenders after a third of their sentence, more money for the probation service, and chemical castration for some sex offenders. Gordon heard from listeners all over the UK with their reaction.
