Bitesize GCSE History

Available for over a year

In this episode Katie and Datshiane examine the Holocaust, the murder of approximately six million Jewish men, women and children by Nazi Germany and its collaborators during World War Two. Before listening, it’s important to acknowledge that we will be discussing the Holocaust, one of the darkest periods in human history. The topic involves deeply distressing themes and the immense suffering of millions of innocent people. While learning about this period is crucial for understanding the impact of hatred and intolerance, some of the content may be upsetting or difficult to hear. If at any point you feel overwhelmed, please take a break or speak to someone you trust. It’s okay to feel emotional about these events, and it’s vital to approach this subject with the respect and care it deserves. You may want to pause the episode to reflect on the content and summarise your thoughts or subject knowledge. For more information on the Holocaust, the Bitesize website has additional resources. While this is a dark chapter in history, it also offers an opportunity to learn how we can work together to build a more compassionate future. Suitable for AQA, Edexcel, Eduqas and OCR.
