51. October - Autumn Preparation

Terry Walton's Plotcast

Available for over a year

Down to earth advice on growing your own fruit and vegetables with allotment gardener Terry Walton, from his plot in the Rhondda Valley. It's time to take the nets off the brassica patch and store them safely for the winter. The Brussels sprouts are thriving and the swede and purple sprouting broccoli are growing well. In the greenhouse it's time to start taking down the tomatoes and adding the foliage to the compost. It will leave space for Terry's wormeries which are almost ready for their winter residence.
