Life after a head injury

Voice of the UK

Available for over a year

Research suggests about half the people admitted to hospital after a head injury suffer major depression in the year after the accident, a rate 10 times higher than the general population. Now an 18-month UK trial will examine the early use of common antidepressants to see if using them can prevent that happening. Nicky Campbell asked 5 Live listeners about their experience of life after a head injury.
