The family of a woman who died after a ceiling collapsed at a Pontins site in 2019 have told the BBC they are still waiting for answers, five years on. Wendy Jones was on holiday in Brean Sands when she was crushed. The owner of the holiday park chain, Britannia Hotels, say the collapse was an “unfortunate incident” and they do not consider themselves at fault. For the past year, the BBC has been investigating this, and other potential health and safety issues at Pontins sites, as our special correspondent, Ed Thomas, explains, in this episode of 5 Minutes On.
