Latest News Picks

Available for over a year

When Russia launched its invasion of Ukraine in 2022 it triggered the biggest exodus of refugees seen in Europe since the Second World War. Many of those fleeing the fighting found themselves in the western city of Lviv. Some stayed, while thousands of others crammed into the railway station to get on trains heading to safety. In this episode of 5 Minutes On, the BBC’s Special Correspondent Fergal Keane has returned to Lviv to find out how people there are coping with the war.
