“Strong, fearless and one of a kind” is how Brianna Ghey’s family describe her. The 16 year old was confident in her identity as transgender and had a huge following on TikTok. She should have had everything to look forward to. Instead she was killed one afternoon in a park near Warrington by two teenagers. They’ve been convicted of murder at Manchester Crown Court. Judith Moritz, the BBC’s North of England correspondent, has been hearing from Brianna’s mother about her memories of her daughter.
