For lots of us, alcohol is a big part of Christmas Day. But more and more people are choosing to be mindful of their alcohol intake over the festive period, or opting to go sober altogether. The British Beer and Pub Association say that 87% of pubs now sell non-alcoholic beer. So are suppliers are responding to our changing drinking habits? In this episode of 5 Minutes On, the BBC's Jim Connolly is at a pub in Arlesford, hearing from Octavia - a mum of two who recently decided to go sober. Octavia says her decision felt scary and that she didn't tell her family at first. But now, she's navigating the festive season sober for the first time, and she's managed to inspire some of her friends to cut back on drinking too. (Image: BBC) Producer: Lucy Acheson
