The long-awaited transgender guidance for schools in England has been published. It says teachers should inform parents if their child wishes to change their gender identity at school and that head teachers should "take a very cautious approach" if pupils want to use a new name, pronouns or uniform. Nicky Campbell asked callers to 5 Live about their experiences of changing gender in school.
