If you're renting in England you could, out of nowhere, be kicked out by your landlord for no reason. At the moment, that’s legal but maybe not for much longer. The government’s announced plans to scrap what’s known as Section 21 – so landlords can’t evict tenants without a valid justification. Housing campaigners have long called for this. But landlords have warned it could force them to leave the market and reduce the supply of rental properties.
