5 Questions On

Available for over a year

Almost 25 years ago, on 10th April 1998, the Good Friday Agreement was signed. The deal brought an end to 30 years of conflict in Northern Ireland, known as the Troubles. Since then the agreement has touched on every aspect of life in Northern Ireland - from the political institutions, such as the power-sharing government, to Brexit. For 5 Questions On, the BBC's Ireland Correspondent, Chris Page, takes us through how the deal came about - and what its legacy is today. Image Credit: Charles McQuillan via Getty Images
