An arrest warrant has been issued for the Russian President, Vladimir Putin, by the International Criminal Court in the Hague. It accuses him of being responsible for war crimes in Ukraine, including the unlawful deportation of children. Russia has repeatedly denied that its forces have committed atrocities, and Mr Putin’s spokesman says Russia does not recognise the jurisdiction of the ICC. It describes the court's decision as "outrageous and unacceptable". But what does this actually mean for Vladimir Putin? And why is it so significant? The BBC's Security Correspondent Frank Gardner has the answers to five key questions. Image Credit: Pavel Bednyakov via Getty Images.
