To most of us, diplomacy probably means international summits, high level negotiations and lots of smart receptions at embassies where people sip champagne and eat fancy chocolates. But not for Finnish ambassadors. For they have a secret diplomatic weapon up their cultural sleeves, namely the sauna – which they use not just for relaxing but also entertaining contacts. There has been a diplomatic sauna society in Washington for some years but now one has been set up in London. For 5 Minutes On, James Landale - the BBC’s diplomatic correspondent - was invited to the Finnish embassy – with trunks and towel in hand - to do some naked networking. Image Credit: BBC News
