The EastEnders actress, June Brown, is probably one of the most famous faces on British TV. For more than thirty-five years she played the devout Christian, chain-smoking launderette manager Dot Cotton. She appeared in almost three thousand episodes - delivered some of the most memorable moments in soap history. The response to her death - at the age of 95 - has underlined how much she was loved and admired.
