At a dramatic Prime Minister's Questions in the Commons, Boris Johnson has rejected calls from opposition parties for his resignation - despite admitting he attended a drinks event in the garden of Downing Street during the first lockdown of the pandemic. Mr Johnson apologised and acknowledged there were things the government "simply did not get right" - but he insisted he thought the gathering in May 2020 was related to work.
