The trial of a US university professor accused of helping Palestinian jihadis. Dr Sami Al-Arian is a Palestinian computer engineer convicted of conspiracy to help the Palestinian Islamic jihad. Federal authorities arrested Al-Arian, at the time a professor at the University of South Florida, in 2003 on charges of funding terrorists.
