How the opposition managed to wrestle Serbia from the grip of Slobodan Milosevic. On Thursday 5 October 2000 in Belgrade, supporters of the newly elected Democratic Opposition of Serbia descended on government buildings. Quite literally they booted out of power Slobodan Milosevic in a bloodless coup.
