Kerry-based singer-songwriter Sorcha Richardson in conversation. Years ago, it took a move to New York for singer-songwriter Sorcha Richardson to properly discover her voice. Up to then, she’d played as a drummer in bands in Dublin but, alone in New York, she began to carve and shape her own songs. Those songs would become her critically acclaimed debut album “First Prize Bravery” back in 2019. This week, she releases her third album “Draw The Outline”. She played live in Derry for the first time at the inaugural All Kinds of Everything Festival back in April of this year and shortly before her set at Derry’s Playhouse, Stephen caught up with her for a chat. They discuss her artistic transformation in New York and her approach to lyric-writing and we also hear a few tracks from her All Kinds of Everything set.
