From Monday to Thursday this week, we will be hearing from some of the exciting artists who performed at this year's Jazzahead in Bremen, Germany, which took place in April. Founded in 2006, it is the world’s largest annual jazz trade fair, showcasing some of the best contemporary jazz from across Europe. Tonight, we will hear from Belgian trombonist and composer Nabou Claerhout as well as a concert highlight from her performance with her band N∆BOU. Also in the programme, there’s music from The Lightmen Plus One, Mark de Clive-Lowe and Plumm. ‘Round Midnight is presented by award-winning saxophonist Soweto Kinch. This weekday late-night show celebrates the thriving UK jazz scene and spotlights the best new music alongside incredible acts from past decades.
