Deb Grant sits in. This week's Trunk of Funk comes from Manchester collective The 7:45s. Led by songwriter, bassist and guitarist Sam Flynn, they take their cue from the great soul house bands, from Motown through to Big Crown. The line-up brings together musicians from across the Manchester scene, with guest vocalists including Yemi Bolatiwa and regular collaborator Martin Connor.
