The Marra in Session

Stephen McCauley

Available for 29 days

“Few heads from Derry, making a racket” Blending ’90s Brit pop, the urgency of early 2000s indie, The Marra draw from their experience of growing up working class in Derry to create anthems of hope and yearning. The five piece rock band have already been praised by Noel Gallagher and championed by Paul Weller. Consisting of stalwarts Shane MacGowan (guitar) and Ryan Ward (vocals) along with Matthew Crossan (guitar) and Luke McLaughlin (bass), both of Touts fame, and Conor Lynch of The Switch (drums), they are no strangers to creating energetic and thoughtful music. The Marra are supporting Paul Weller in Cork later this month.
